American Swing Music & Dance is proud to present a swing dance with live music by the legendary Big Bad Voodoo Daddy in the historic Spanish Ballroom. Together for over 25 years, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy has appeared in concert venues across the world and sold millions of records, and their music has been heard in hundreds of movies and television shows. With sold out concerts from the Hollywood Bowl to Lincoln Center, appearances with many of the country’s finest symphony orchestras, and television appearances ranging from Dancing with the Stars to Superbowl XXXIII, the band continues its decades-long mission to celebrate and revitalize jazz and swing music—America’s original musical art form—and bring joy to audiences around the world. A beginner swing dance lesson with Tom & Debra of Gottaswing is included in the ticket price and runs from 8:00 pm – 9:00 pm. The dance begins at 9:00 pm.
