Interested in helping to save our pollinators? Please join the DC Pollinator Porch Parade on June 26-27 to help everyone learn more about the many pollinators we have in our area and how planting native plants can help save them. To help, you can: 1) create a display for the parade. This can be simply sidewalk chalk drawing and/or posters and drawings about pollinators. A great art project for kids. We’re giving away posters (see below), pollinator coloring books, monarch butterfly bookmarks, and honeysicks to those who register the display to be included in the parade map (while supplies last). The posters can be used in your display, and registration is on the website. Or if you have a native garden or beehive, we are mapping those too. 2) Take a walk during the parade dates to check out the displays, native gardens, and beehives in our neighborhood or around DC and post pictures to social media with #dcpollinatorparade.
