Hawai’i After Hours

May 17, 2019 @ 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm UTC+0

Celebrate Hawai’i After Hours at the National Museum of the American Indian. The museum opens its doors for a late-night event to begin the three-day festival dedicated to Hawaiian Culture. Dance to live music with the Aloha Boys and Hālau O ‘Aulani, play fun and interactive Hawaiian games, make a kapa stamped bookmark, visit a photo booth, and make a ti leaf bracelet. Enjoy the unique flavors of drinks and dishes, including a roast pig, by local chefs and the museum’s Mitsitam Café. Learn about King Kamehameha’s legacy by exploring the lua, traditional training for warriors, as well as the unique royal Hawaiian regalia, including distinctive feather capes.

Hawai’i After Hours tickets can be purchased here and include special evening admission to the museum’s galleries. Food and beverages will be available for purchase onsite.
