Dine in: Throughout the festival guests can make a reservation to dine on Oaxacan-inspired specials on Oyamel’s recently expanded patio or in the restaurant (with reduced seating to meet distancing standards).
Virtual Cocktail Packages: Guests that want to join in the fun from home can order a cocktail to-go package, which includes a virtual cocktail class.
Chef’s Experience Dinner: On Sunday, March 7 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. guests can join Chef Omar and the beverage team for an intimate and informative Chef’s Experience Dinner. The special five-course tasting menu will highlight agave producing regions through unique dish and cocktail pairings ($75). Tickets are available on Tock, limited to meet social distancing standards, and tables may be booked for parties of two or four.
Cocktail Tasting: On Monday, March 8 from 6 to 7 p.m. A three-cocktail package is accompanied by snacks including cacahuetes, chapulines and chicharrones. The event is hosted, virtually, by Oyamel’s beverage team, who will share details about the cocktails and spirits for guests to follow along at home. The cocktails are designed to showcase the variety of ingredients and flavors found all over Mexico, focusing on a few very regional ingredients (nances, poblano, hoja santa) to complement the spirits.
