This winter, the artists of Washington Printmakers Gallery explore the extraordinary color of red – how to use it, how to shape it, and how to interpret the many things the color connotes. From barns to blood, love to the longest wavelength in the light spectrum, and fire trucks to fruit, red represents a myriad of unique feelings and objects. Stop by the gallery this Saturday, Feb. 6 from 11 am – 5 pm to view their RED exhibit in person. From 2 pm – 3 pm, artist Nina Muys will also be onsite, demonstrating how to create original Valentine’s Day cards using styrofoam plates, stamps and stencils. The activity is free; social distancing and masks required.
