DC’s latest rooftop bar & restaurant, Yara, will be welcoming talent from across the country to pop in for guest shift takeovers. Yara boasts a thoughtful cocktail program that reflects the Japanese and Peruvian vibe & cuisine, and is thrilled to feature top-mixologists behind their bar to add their own personal touch with special menus that benefit excellent causes.
The events will take place monthly on select evenings, from 6-9pm. Guest bartenders are slated to prepare special, one-time-only cocktail menus, featuring 4-5 selections, to be offered alongside paired bites from Chef Yuki Nakandakari.
The June 29th event will feature AJ Johnson – Managing Partner and Beverage Director at Serenata in Washington, DC.
In addition to live music and special activations taking place over the duration of the evening, a portion of all proceeds will be donated to a select charitable organization of each bartender’s choosing. Guests are encouraged to book reservations via Yara’s Resy.
