Lasting Images of the 2014 Smithsonian Folklife Festival

The 2014 Smithsonian Folklife Festival, the 48th annual edition celebrating cultural traditions from around the world, took place June 25 to 29 and July 2 to 6 on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. The themes were “China: Tradition and the Art of Living,” and “Kenya: Mambo Poa!” This year’s event left us with many memorable images which can be viewed by clicking on the photo icons below.
