The George Town Club thought it would just have a nice, quiet 50th anniversary party Oct. 1. Well, it was anything and everything but quiet, as friends, old and new, enjoyed all the club’s stylish rooms and a feast of a dinner. Patterned after clubs in London, the George Town Club, founded in 1966, is today finding a new generation of members.
