Smithsonian Craft2Wear 2016

The Preview Night Benefit, with all proceeds benefiting the Smithsonian’s programs and museums, afforded a first look at the craft of fashion designers and jewelers presenting wearable art for men and women.  The event produced by the Smithsonian Women’s Committee was held at the National Museum Oct. 6 before the show’s two-day run.  The exhibitors included returning artists previously juried into the Smithsonian Craft Show alongside new designers recommended by leading design institutes.  Guests enjoyed professional modeling, a light buffet and music.
