September 21-23

12th Annual St. Michaels Concours d’Elegance

An event that highlights Grand Classic Motoring, putting the emphasis on automobiles and wooden speed boats. Located at the Inn at Perry Cabin and Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum.

September 22

Bay Music Festival

This festival will take place at Queen Anne’s County 4-H Park near Centreville, Maryland from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m. Attendees can expect a wide variety of music, such as country music and hard rock.

September 23

Dorchester Showcase and Art Walk

This festival will take place at 321 Historic High Street in Cambridge, Maryland from noon to 5 p.m., rain or shine. A showcase of visual arts, music and Eastern Shore cuisine.

October 6

Easton Beer Festival

The festival is located at the Easton Volunteer Fire Department, 315 Leonard Rieck Drive (Formerly 315 Aurora Park Drive), Easton, Maryland. Going on its third year, this beer festival will highlight all kinds of beers, including craft beers, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Designated drivers can purchase tickets where they can drink all the soda they want.

October 6

Crabtoberfest

This event is described as “Oktoberfest with an Eastern Shore twist.” Crab dishesare, of course, part of the fare. The location of this event will be at Governors Hall at Sailwinds Park, 200 Byrn Street, Cambridge, Maryland. The event will start at 3 p.m. and will end at 9 p.m.

October 13

Fairyfest

For those who love anything and all things fairy – the event will take place at the Adkins Arboretum, 12610 Eveland Road, Ridgely, Maryland from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. In case of rain, the event will be postponed to October 14.

October 20

Tilghman Island Day

Crab picking, oyster shucking and boat docking will be judged via contests, a row boat race and more things nautical. The event starts at 10 a.m.

Maryland Renaissance Festival

A Maryland festival that should be visited at least once in one’s lifetime. A story line that is related to Anne Boleyn will be performed, along with other entertainment. The festival is located on Crownsville Road in Crownsville, Maryland, near Annapolis, Maryland and takes place from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m., rain or shine.

November 1

MSO Stellar Concertmasters

The Mid-Atlantic Symphony Orchestra will be performing Mozart’s SinfoniaConcertante with violinist Kurt Nikkanen and viola musician Jonathan Carney. Oneof Haydn’s London Symphonies will also be performed at the concert. The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Easton Church of God, 1009 N. Washington Street, Easton, Maryland.

November 3

Oyster Jam

This event will take place at the Phillips Wharf on Tilghman Island, Maryland, located on 6129 Tilghman Island Road from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m. Oysters from all over the state of Maryland will be featured and oysters will be prepared in various ways, where visitors are encouraged to consume oysters with beer in some form.

November 9-11

Waterfowl Festival

An Easton, Maryland festival that covers a variety of interests for visitors, from children to adults to nature lovers. The festival celebrates the culture and heritageof the Eastern Shore area. The general locations are Easton High School, St. Mark’sChurch and the West Street Parking Lot.
