Cmdr. Duncan Bedlion of the Metropolitan Police Department’s Second District told The Georgetowner on Sept. 14: The crime “occurred on Saturday at approximately 11:11 pm. Two suspects assaulted the victim from behind and then brandished a handgun, taking the victim’s phone. The victim sustained minor injuries and did not go to an area hospital.
