Joyeux Noel for Opera Society

Under the patronage of French Ambassador Philippe Etienne, the Washington Opera Society celebrated the holidays with song at the Embassy of France on Dec. 13. Following a cocktail reception, guests participated in a Christmas singalong as they joined artists under the baton of General and Artistic Director Julien Benichou. WOS extended a special thank you to philanthropist and chairwoman Annie Totah, the generous main sponsor of the production. Guests bid on auction items during intermission and enjoyed post-concert desserts. The Washington Opera Society presents intellectual and specialty operatic programs to Washington’s audiences and endeavors to support music in D.C. public schools.
