Hillwood Summer Gala Lights Up the Night

Guests complied with the request to shimmer and sparkle at Hillwood’s black-tie “Light up the Night Gala!” on June 6, which celebrated the opening of the current exhibition, “Glass: Art. Beauty. Design.”   

Executive Director Kate Markert and Co-Chairs Kathie Legg, Mark Lowham, Skip Sroka, and Gail Berry West spearheaded the event in support of Hillwood’s mission to share the cultural treasure that Marjorie Post left for the public’s enjoyment.  

Following cocktails and tours of the special exhibition, dinner catered by Design Cuisine was served under a starlit tent on the magnificent Lunar Lawn. 

Support is vital to Hillwood’s continuing work to educate and inspire the public through the legacy of Marjorie Merriweather Post’s collections and gardens. Gifts will ensure the development of innovative new programming, educational opportunities, and special exhibitions.
