Tens of Thousands in Pro-Palestinian March for Gaza

At least tens of thousands of people gathered downtown for one of the biggest pro-Palestinian protests ever in the U.S. on Saturday. Marchers called for a cease-fire in Gaza, where Israel Defense Forces are attacking Hamas for its Oct. 7 attack on Israel.

The Nov. 4 event — organized by several pro-Palestinian groups — started with an afternoon rally at Freedom Plaza and made its way to the front of the White House and Lafayette Park.

Photos were taken on Saturday during the demonstration — and a few on Sunday morning to show the aftermath of paint and graffiti on monuments and on the pillars of the entrance to the White House.
