LAST CALL: Georgetown Night at ‘Hamlet’

Won’t you join us for Georgetown Night at “Hamlet”? A festive pre-performance reception begins at 7 p.m. this Thursday, March 1, at the Harman Center, 610 F St. NW. The curtain goes up at 8 p.m.

Georgetown Media Group has arranged for this performance of the Shakespeare Theatre Company’s attention-getting, modern-dress production — directed by Michael Kahn and starring Michael Urie — to be designated Georgetown Night. Don’t miss it!

A block of seats has been reserved in the grand tier orchestra section. Georgetowners are encouraged to purchase discounted tickets, while they last, at shakespearetheatre.org or by calling 202-547-1122.

Urie, the production’s Hamlet, plays Marc St. James on the ABC television series “Ugly Betty.” Another Michael, Kahn, the company’s legendary artistic director, is the guiding hand behind this very contemporary production, possibly the last Shakespeare play he will direct (he has announced that he will retire at the end of the 2018-19 season).

When booking tickets for March 1, Georgetowners should use the promo code: GEORGETOWNER55. The price per ticket is $55.
