Happy Hour with the Diplomatic Palate 

A hip, diplomatic crowd gathered at the Ven Embassy Row Hotel July 9 to help launch a series of international food tasting extravaganzas featuring the nation’s capital very own diplomats. Part of the festivities included the opening of the hotel’s art gallery, highlighting Czech artist Slavka Kratka.

Ambassador of Czech Republic Hynek Kmoníček and his fashionable wife Indira Gumarova were the first to be featured with an assortment of heavy hors d’oeuvres from his own country with the help of D.C.’s unique eating establishment Fred and Stilla’s staff.
